The primary focus of the course is the core rules of the common law of contract. General topics include the rules governing contract formation (e.g. offer and acceptance, the intention to create legal relations, and consideration), the content of the contract (e.g. express and implied terms), excuses for non-performance (e.g. mistake, frustration, and duress) and remedies.
