Chaque discipline académique a un impact direct ou indirect sur fonctionnement de la société. Ces impacts sont au coeur de toute réflexion éthique propre à chaque domaine.
Cependant, la spécialisation dans un domaine particulier n'offre pas toujours la chance d'être exposé aux réalités d'autres champs d'expertise. Il est ainsi possible que toute la diversité de points de vue permettant de bien appréhender une réalité puisse nous échapper.
Dans le cadre de ce cours, en discutant de certains thèmes de grande envergure avec une optique multidisciplinaire, nous espérons pouvoir enrichir notre champ de réflexion en évitant les périls du travail en silo et de la chambre d'échos.

What is this course about?
Each academic discipline has a direct or indirect impact on the functioning of society. These impacts are at the heart of any ethical reflection specific to each field. However, specialization in a particular field does not always allow one to be exposed to the realities of other areas of expertise. This limits us, to a variable degree, to how well we may understand ceratin realities that we are unfamiliar with.
In this course, by discussing some wide-ranging topics from a multidisciplinary perspective, we hope to enrich our field of reflection and avoid the perils of working in silos and of echo chambers.
