PPC 540 is a phase 5 optional course in the Bachelor of Vocational Education program that explores educational contexts that warrant an interest in adopting inclusive teaching practices. The manifestations of diversity and its impact in the classroom will be explored. Students will be introduced to various inclusive teaching methods, in particular the Universal Design for Learning model, and will experiment with some in their own professional practice. Students will analyze their own teaching practices in view of inclusive teaching pedagogical strategies learned in the context of the course.
